The International Conference «Surface mining in XXI century» will be held in October
4-7, 2011 in Krasnoyarsk in the international exhibition centre “Siberia”. This event will be the first such event in Russia during the last 20 years.
The conference will be held once in two years on the basis of the leading mining enterprises of Russia. The conference in Krasnoyarsk is the first in this number. Krasnoyarsk is the centre of one of the largest regions of our country on development of mineral resources. The conference program includes technical tours to Borodino and Nazarovsky surface mines and also to Olimpiadinsky GOK.
The basic conference subject is energy-efficient technologies and mining equipment. The recent rapid growth of production requires the application of the most modern, efficient, safe and environment-oriented technologies coupled with quality management and advanced science.
For the last twenty years mining and mechanical engineers of the world have developed a lot of technologies and stoping methods, created a large number of mining equipment.
The conference purpose is the experience exchange, the analysis of last world achievements and the working out of the basic directions of surface mining industry development.
The reports of the experts from the leading mining countries, such as Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Russia, USA, Ukraine, South Africa, Japan will be presented at the conference.
Within the limits of an International conference “Surface mining in XXI century” simultaneous translation from Russian into English and from English into Russia will be performed simultaneously with a speaker, without pauses and delays. Experienced conference interpreters will provide high quality translation.
An exhibition will be organized as part of the conference. The participation in the exhibition for sponsors of Surface mining in XXI century is free of charge.
