Technical tour to Borodinsky surface mine
Borodinsky surface mine is a coalmining factory located in Krasnoyarsk region of the Russian Federation. It is part of rian SUEK coal energetic company. Borodinsky surface mine has been commissioned under the design of Lengiproshakht institute (now SPb-Giproshakht JSC). It is placed in operation in December 1949 with the production capacity of one million tones of coal per year. Borodinsky mine was under manystage since 1953 and its annual capacity has been risen up to 20 Mt coal.

Krasnoyarsk is the larges economic and cultural center of Siberia, an administrative center of Krasnoyarsk region (the second area subject of the Russian Federation). The City population is 964,7 thousand. Krasnoyarsk has received the status of the city in 1690. It is situated on both banks of Yenisey River appearing the bolder between West and East Siberia, and you have chance to visit both its parts.

Technical tour to Nazarovsky surface mine
Nazarovsky open pit mine is also a part of SUEK. The building began in 1947 under the project of Leningrad project institute LenGiproshakht with the capacity of 4 million tonnes of the coal mining per a year. The putting into operation of the excavator ASH-100/100 in 1977 is a significant event in the open pit mine history. From 1977 to 1993 the volume of the moved mined was 127,652 mln.m3. The peak of a yearly output – 15090,6 thousand tonnes was reached in 1982.
The powerful excavation-loading machines are used at the open pit mine: the surface complex SRs (K)–4000 and the excavator ERs (K)–800 manufactured in Germany, the Ukrainian excavators R– 1250. Nowadays the full capacity of the enterprise makes 5 mln. tonnes per a year.
Technical tour to Olimpiadinsky ore-dressing and processing enterprise
Olympiadinsky ore-dressing and processing enterprise, opened in 1975, has been developed by Polyus Gold JSC since 1980. It is located in the North Yenisei area of the Yenisei edge. The bio-oxidation technology was introduced on Olimpiadinsky open pit mine for the first time in Russia in 2001. Implemented in July, 2007, the 3d line of the largest gold-processing factory in Russia having the rated capacity of 5 mln.tons of ore per a year due to Olympiadinsky open pit mine let raise the annual volume of sulfide oir processing till 9.5 mln.tons of ore per a year. 861oz.of gold were manufactured by the factory in 2007.
